Stackner Cabaret To Undergo A
$1.75 Million Renovation

This summer the Stackner Cabaret will go through a much needed update. The renovation will provide state of the art production capabilities, comfortable new seats and tables, a new kitchen and bar to serve up the most delicious meals and best cocktails as well as increased seating. The renovation will also feature a new entrance as well as an outer lobby bar and seating area.

Community Engagement Practitioners
Will Flock to Milwaukee For Summit

In March more than 130 community engagement practitioners, educators and artists from 26 states and 76 organizations will convene at The Rep for a first of its kind conference. The summit is an opportunity for participants to collectively envision a future for community engagement in the American Theater. While the summit is by invitation only, the panels will be livestreamed on HowlroundTV.

Elects Three New Members

At the January meeting Milwaukee Rep’s Board elected three new members including Brookfield native Ayad Akhtar, winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Also joining the board are Bladen Burns, SVP and Partner at Fiduciary Management, and Deborah Tomczyk, Partner and Chair of the Real Estate Practice Group at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren.
