Free Dance Workshop
With Jon Rua

Original Hamilton cast member and New York dancer Jon Rua, will host a free dance workshop at The Rep on Wed. July 17. Jon will be choreographing The Rep’s production of West Side Story this fall.

If you are age 13-18 with some dance experience this workshop is for you. All participants will receive a free ticket to attend West Side Story. Simply fill out the registration form by June 27.

This is a great opportunity to learn from one of the most creative choreographers in the country today. Please join us!

Melissa Vartanian-Mikaelian, May Adrales, Laura Braza

Milwaukee Rep Expands Leadership Team

Three exceptional female leaders have been named to new roles within The Rep. Current General Manager Melissa Vartanian-Mikaelian, will become Managing Director, providing leadership to the Community Engagement, Education, Finance and Administration departments. Associate Artistic Director May Adrales will move to Milwaukee full time and spearhead the John (Jack) D. Lewis New Play Development program in addition to directing productions and Laura Braza returns home to Milwaukee to join the team in a newly created role of Artistic Producer, providing oversight to the Artistic department. They will join Artistic Director Mark Clements and Executive Director Chad Bauman as well as other members of the leadership team starting July 1.

Be part of the 2019/20 Professional Training Institute (PTI) ensemble, a free advanced actor training program for students in 9th – 12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist. Over the course of the season participants receive training from some of the top theater professionals in the world, culminating in a capstone summer performance where they will be employed as paid, professional actors.
