Synopsis

Below are more details about the show. If you prefer to experience the story without knowing any plot details in advance, we recommend closing this window.

A teenage boy stands accused of murdering his father, and twelve jurors must decide his fate. With a guilty verdict carrying the death penalty, the case initially appears straightforward. Most of the jurors are ready to convict after a brief discussion, eager to return to their lives. But one juror is not convinced that the decision should be made so quickly.

As the men begin to examine the evidence more closely, questions emerge about the reliability of witness testimony, the interpretation of key facts, and the assumptions that have shaped their conclusions. Confined to a jury room and under increasing pressure, the jurors find themselves engaged in a tense and often heated debate.

As the discussion unfolds, personal experiences, prejudices, and deeply held beliefs begin to influence the proceedings, revealing as much about the men themselves as the case before them. What begins as a deliberation about one young man's future becomes a compelling examination of justice, responsibility, and the power of reasonable doubt.

Regarded as one of the greatest courtroom dramas ever written, Twelve Angry Men is a riveting and thought-provoking exploration of conscience, courage, and the fragile nature of truth.
