Stackner Cabaret
A unique and intimate venue renovated in the summer of 2018, the Stackner Cabaret features 182 seats arranged around the stage, with tables flanking both sides, positioned in the center bowl, and a row of high-top tables at the back of the house. With the stage surrounded by staggered tables, guests are placed in the heart of the action, creating an immersive experience where actors often interact directly with the audience.
The Stackner Cabaret presents an eclectic mix of performances, from lively musical revues and jukebox musicals to an occasional small cast play, all perfectly suited to the venue’s relaxed, cabaret-style atmosphere.
While not a dinner theater, the Stackner Cabaret offers full dinner service prior to evening performances, available to both the general public and show attendees. A lighter fare menu is offered before weekend matinee performances, with drinks and desserts available before every show and during intermission.
As part of the new Associated Bank Theater Center, there’s now an additional way to enter and exit the Stackner Cabaret. When performances are happening in the Ellen & Joe Checota Powerhouse and/or the Herro-Franke Studio Theater, you can conveniently access the Stackner from Level 3 of the Sandra & William Haack Galleria, giving you direct access to multiple performance venues all under one roof.
You can also use the main Stackner entrance on Level 2 of the Associated Bank River Center. Simply take the parking garage elevators to Level 2 or ride up the gold escalator from the Associated Bank River Center Rotunda to reach the theater.
