At Milwaukee Rep's School of Theater, creativity takes center stage. Offering engaging classes, workshops, and performance opportunities for youth and adults, the program provides a welcoming environment where participants can develop theatrical skills, build confidence, and express themselves through the arts. Led by Milwaukee Rep Teaching Artists and hosted in the Herzfeld Foundation Education & Engagement Center, the School of Theater is a place to learn, connect, create, and grow.

Adult Classes

Milwaukee Rep’s adult classes are designed for ages 18+ and open to all experience levels—from beginners exploring something new to seasoned performers looking to refine their craft.

Youth Classes

Explore a variety of performing arts classes for youth ages 7–18 designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and develop skills for the stage and beyond.

Corporate Training

Unlock your team’s potential with the power of theater! Milwaukee Rep’s Corporate Training Workshops bring the energy and creativity of the stage into the workplace.

Teen Council

A leadership program for teens interested in theater, arts administration, and community engagement. Participants gain hands-on experience and develop leadership skills.

Next Narrative® Monologue Competition

A national competition where high school students perform monologues by leading contemporary Black playwrights. Participants build confidence, strengthen their performance skills, and have the opportunity to advance to regional and national finals.

Private Coaching

Looking for additional training on an individual level? One-on-one coaching will allow for an in-depth exploration of your specific goals and challenges with flexibility to meet your schedule needs.
