Teen Council
Leadership For Teens, By Teens
Milwaukee Rep’s Teen Council is a free leadership program that equips and empowers teens to lead programs for other high school students while receiving dynamic theater arts and administrative training. Each year we accept up to 20 committed teens that are ready to activate their leadership skills, be mentored by industry professionals, and create relationships with like-minded peers. Through this program teens will develop skills in:
- College Readiness & Career Preparation
- Community Engagement & Volunteerism
- Theater & Arts Advocacy
In addition to planning a variety of student-driven events, Council members also have VIP access to the Milwaukee Rep, including free performances and workshops.
Teen Council is open to all teens with varying interests, backgrounds and levels of theatrical experience. Applications for the 2026/27 Teen Council Cohort are now open. Fill out the application below.

Testimonials
“I am here to experience as much theatre as possible and because I want to do [theatre] professionally, I want to see every area possible that is available to someone in the business and learn about it.”

“[Teen Council] was all a very positive experience during the time that I've spent with it. It was great meeting new people and setting up fun events. I really found it cool how we'd get to see shows for a good price and even talk to some of the cast members! I'd definitely recommend it!”
