Sharing the Spirit of the Season

Inspired by the themes of generosity and compassion found in A Christmas Carol, Milwaukee Rep extends the spirit of the holidays beyond the stage. Through free ticket opportunities, partnerships with local nonprofits, and programs that provide holiday gifts to families in need, these efforts help bring joy, connection, and hope to others during the holiday season.

A Christmas Carol Community Tickets

We provide up to 1,200 free tickets to A Christmas Carol each year for youth and family organizations that may not otherwise be able to experience the production. Tickets are currently available through invitation only as we do prioritize our current community partners. If you are interested in future partnership, please contact engagement@milwaukeerep.com.

A Christmas Carol Family Program

Each season our Community Impact Partners can apply to be the recipient organization of our A Christmas Carol Families Program. The partner organization identifies families that could use support over the holiday season. We collect donations from our audiences after every performance of A Christmas Carol and use those funds to shop for each family member. Families receive clothing, household items, toys, books and grocery gift cards.

Past partner organizations include Jewish Family Services, Community Advocates, United Community Center, COA Youth and Family Centers, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Running Rebels, La Causa, Journey House, Sojourner Family Peace Center, Next Door Foundation, Meta House, Wisconsin FACETS, Safe & Sound and more.
