Support Milwaukee Rep Behind the Scenes
In addition to ushering, volunteers support Milwaukee Rep in a variety of ways throughout the season. Whether welcoming artists, supporting resident programs, or helping create a sense of community for company members, these opportunities offer unique ways to get involved behind the scenes.
Company Suppers
Connect with artists and staff by helping provide and serve meals for cast and crew between Saturday performances.
Requirements
- Contribute food items and assist with meal service
- Typical commitment: Saturdays, 5:00–8:00pm
First Rehearsals
Help welcome a new production by assisting with refreshments and hospitality during the company's first rehearsal.
Requirements
- Contribute food items and assist with set-up or service
- Typical commitment: 9:30am–12:30pm
Emerging Professional Resident (EPR) Angels
Support Milwaukee Rep's Emerging Professional Residents by helping provide home-cooked meals and participating in special seasonal gatherings throughout the year.
Requirements
- Contribute food items and assist with meals or activities
- Four volunteer opportunities annually, typically 4:30–6:30pm
Hospitality Rides
Provide transportation for visiting artists, directors, designers, producers, and Emerging Professional Residents traveling to and from Milwaukee.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Volunteer provides gas and parking expenses
- Most trips require 60–90 minutes
