Winter Supplies Drive

Milwaukee Rep has an annual tradition of collecting donations for a local community agency following each performance of A Christmas Carol in the Pabst Theater lobby.  Donations collected support families served by the partner agency during the holiday season through gifts of clothing, household needs, wish list items, books and more. Additionally, any remaining dollars raised are directly donated to the partner organization. Due to COVID-19, our ability to collect donations has changed, but we want to maintain our tradition of providing support to our community.

As a part of our Mpact Initiative, we support the neighborhood revitalization plans of three different Milwaukee neighborhoods in various capacities, including Amani, Metcalfe Park, and Muskego Way. Each of these neighborhoods has provided a list of their residents’ needs in the upcoming months. Milwaukee Rep is hosting a Winter Supplies Drive for these three neighborhood organizations now through December 23. Donations can be dropped off in front of our Ticket Office, 108 East Wells Street in the Associated Bank River Center, Monday –Friday 10am to 5pm.

Here is a list of accepted donations:

  • Winter Apparel – new or gently used coats, snowsuits, gloves, scarves, hats, sweaters, socks
  • Boots – new or gently used
  • Blankets – new or gently used
  • School Supplies – notebooks, pens/pencils, markers/crayons, paper, etc.
  • Hygiene Items – soap, shampoo/conditioner, feminine products, cotton balls, toilet paper, toothpaste, etc.

If you are unable to donate goods, but would still like to support work in any of our partner neighborhoods, please donate directly to the following organizations:

Amani Neighborhood – Dominican Center
The Dominican Center partners with residents to achieve and sustain neighborhood integrity, economic self-sufficiency and family well-being in the Amani neighborhood, which is especially important during the Covid-19 pandemic as neighbors are searching for new and innovative programs, resources and ways to stay connected now more than ever before.

Metcalfe Park Community Bridges
Metcalfe Park Community Bridges is grateful for your friendship and support. The events of this year have exposed the depths of inequities in our community. Your support helps Metcalfe Park Community Bridges share important resources with our family of Metcalfe Park residents that address food insecurity, health, and well-being while increasing civic engagement and community connectedness. Thank you for sharing your blessings during this holiday season.
