Become a star with a walk-on role in the 2009production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.  In this non-speaking role, you will get to lend color to a group cross over scene on the streets of London in each act of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and will participate in the curtain call and final sing-along from on stage. You will be assigned an actor to escort you for each onstage appearance. 43)  Abridged two-fold screen

This two-fold screen, entitled Abridged, is a piece of artist-designed furniture made by Margaret Hasek-Guy – The Rep’s Soft Props Artisan.  The design of the framework is evocative of the architectural angles we see every day in any Midwestern city.  The finish on the wood framework, made of ash and poplar, washand-rubbed with tung oil.  The bridge image on the silk was hand-drawn, batiked and vat-dyed in warm, neutral tones, in keeping with the warm colors of the wood.  The wood detail at the bottom reminds us that all bridges have elaborate and intricate structure underneath to support them. This piece is especially striking visually when softly lit from behind.
