Ten Chimneys is a lush new comedy that peeks into the private lives of the most public of figures. Theater legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne welcomed the titans of Broadway and Hollywood – including Noël Coward, Katharine Hepburn and Laurence Olivier – to their secluded Genesee Depot, Wisconsin, retreat. When a young starlet arrives to rehearse the Lunts’ latest production, she unwittingly ignites a romantic triangle that eclipses any on-stage drama. Rep favorite Jeffrey Hatcher (The Government Inspector, Work Song, The Turn of the Screw), has penned a sparkling, witty gem of a play that celebrates a Wisconsin treasure.
Approximately 2hrs and 20 mins. This production includes brief nudity and the use of a strobe light.
