Pabst Theater

Milwaukee's
jewel box, The Pabst Theater, was built in 1895 and was designed
by architect Otto Strack in the tradition of the great European
opera houses. Its opulent Baroque interior includes an Austrian
crystal chandelier, a staircase crafted from white Italian Carrara
marble, and a proscenium arch - highlighted in gold leaf - framing
the stage. The Rep stages Milwaukee’s longest running,
and the Nation’s 2nd, longest annual production of A CHRISTMAS
CAROL November through December. A family tradition, each performance
brings a refreshing and everlasting spirit of the holidays to
both young and old.
