Milwaukee Repertory Theater Staff Announcements
Milwaukee Repertory Theater is proud to announce the following staff changes for the 2005/2006 season. Cindy Moran has been promoted to Public Relations Director, Kelly Basten has been promoted to Marketing Manager and Kristy Steiner has been promoted to Promotions and Sales Manager.
Cindy Moran has been with Milwaukee Rep since 1991 as a member of The Rep’s Marketing/PR Department. She has been The Rep’s Audience Development Manager since 2000. In that capacity she has been actively involved with community relations for The Rep and in forming collaborative marketing partnerships with a wide range of arts-friendly organizations. She has been chair of ArtSpin, a collaborative arts marketing group, for the last ten years. In her new position, Ms. Moran will also be responsible for all media relations for Milwaukee Rep. She will continue as editor for Rep publications and marketing materials and will assist in the marketing and promotional efforts of the Marketing Department in heightening visibility of The Rep and increasing ticket sales.
Kelly Basten has been with Milwaukee Rep since 2000 as The Rep’s Assistant Marketing Manager. She is a graduate of St. Norbert’s College with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Communications with a minor in European History. In her new position as Marketing Manager Kelly will do graphic design work for all print advertising and coordinate media placement. She will manage season video and photo shoots. Ms. Basten works directly with outside advertising and creative agencies for both print and internet. She maintains The Rep’s website as well as manages e-mail database and e-mail blasts. As a member of The Rep’s marketing department she assists in the development of marketing initiatives and strategies.
Kristy Steiner has just completed her first season in The Rep’s Marketing Department as Sales Manager. She is a recent graduate of University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Management. In her new position as Promotions and Sales Manager Ms. Steiner will work directly with telemarketing, and Ticket Office operations to increase sales as well as assist in group sales activities. She will work to maximize sales potential and continue a high level of customer service. Ms. Steiner will manage all promotional and audience development events including Theater Thursdays and the Marquee Club. Additionally, she fulfills requests for tickets from area non-profits for fundraisers.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is a nationally recognized theater company that presents a critically-acclaimed selection of compelling dramas, powerful classics, award-winning contemporary works and lively Cabaret shows on three stages from September through May. This theater operates under an agreement between the League of Resident Theatres and Actors' Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States.
