THE REP ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Milwaukee Repertory Theater is pleased to announce the addition
of five members to its Broad of Trustees. The new members will
serve an initial three-year term. The new Board members include: Juan
Carrasquillo (Greenfield) – WE Energies; Kathleen
A. Gray (Brookfield) – Quarles & Brady; John
N. Greene (Bayside) – Johnson Controls; Stephen
Isaacson (Fox Point) – Ziegler Capital Markets; Joe
Rock (Shorewood) – KPMG; and Robert Welke (Fox
Point) – Blue Horse.
Jacqueline Herd-Barber is now in her second year
as the President of the Board of Trustees. Ms. Herd-Barber is employed
at Freescale Semiconductor, and she resides with her family in
Mequon. Throughout her two-year tenure, Herd-Barber has continued
to encourage more people to attend Rep productions and to contribute
their support in order for the theater to remain a sound and stable
community institution.
In addition to the five new members, the following members have
been chosen for a second three-year term. The members include: Karen
Dean (Shorewood) – Community Volunteer; George
Dionisopolous (Pewaukee) – Foley & Lardner; Stephen
Einhorn (River Hills) – Einhorn Associates; William
Mahler (Milwaukee) – Robert W. Baird & Co.;
and James Plunkett (River Hills) – Plunkett
Raysich Architects. Also, Walter Daumler (Racine) – Community
Volunteer, has been nominated to serve a two-year term as President
of the Friends of The Rep and will sit on the Board of Trustees
as a liaison.
The Rep’s officers for the 2007/08 season are: President:

Director, Milwaukee Repertory Theater; and Immediate Past-President:

The new Trustees will also join an already prestigious group of

Open to the public before and after all evening performances, Milwaukee
Repertory Theater’s Stackner Cabaret, located on the second
floor of the Milwaukee Center, is our own full-service, smoke-free
bar and restaurant. Featuring delicious dinners, as well as late

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is a nationally recognized
theater company that presents a critically-acclaimed selection of
compelling dramas, powerful classics, award-winning contemporary
works and lively Cabaret shows on three stages from September through
May. The Rep also produces an annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
The Rep's home, the Patty and Jay Baker Theater Complex, accommodates
the Quadracci Powerhouse Theater, the Stiemke Theater and the Stackner
Cabaret. The Rep is also home to a Resident Acting Company of 13
actors who perform with The Rep throughout the season.
The Rep is proud to be a member of the United
Performing Arts Fund (UPAF), which provides major annual financial
support. The Rep is a member of the League
of Resident Theatres (LORT), a management association of some
of the nation's largest non-profit professional theaters that collectively
bargains with the unions that represent the actors, directors and
designers that work at The Rep; a constituent of Theatre
Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for the
nonprofit professional theater; and a member of Theatre
Wisconsin, the statewide association of non-profit professional
theaters. This theater operates under an agreement between the League
of Resident Theatres and Actors'
Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage
managers in the United States. The set, costume and lighting designers
are members of United Scenic Artists,
