Theater is not a solitary or mind-numbing escape, rather it is one experienced with a community of people. Attending live theater is sharing a story – a truly unique experience in the 21st century – that cannot be re-created by a computer or a television show. I became hooked on The Rep because of the breadth, depth and diversity of the storytelling found in all three of our theaters and the stories presented which span centuries and cultures. The Rep tells these stories with some of the finest actors in the country who bring the characters to life.” Milwaukee Repertory Theater is also delighted to welcome six new members to its Board of Trustees. This group will serve on The Rep’s Board for an initial three-year term of office. This theater operates under an agreement between the League of Resident Theatres and Actors' Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States.
