Following an extensive strategic planning process, the Education Department at Milwaukee Repertory Theater will be making a number of innovative changes to our programming in the 2006-2007 season. We are thrilled by the prospect of this new direction in our educational offerings, but know that some “old” favorites will need to make way for the positive changes.

Driving many of our decisions is the desire to develop additional programming that connects the plays on our stages with audiences of an appropriate age.

In order to concentrate our efforts on students who are middle school age or above, it became necessary to discriminate programs which we have long enjoyed presenting, but found do not meet our department’s goals.

For this reason, as of July 1st, 2006, we will no longer offer our TEENWORKS program at Milwaukee Repertory Theater.

However, we sincerely hope to continue to be a resource for you. Please watch this space for details on future programming.
