AUDITIONING

Preparing
the professional audition 
Auditioning
can cause ulcers – or be fun! It requires special skills to market
yourself and your abilities under stress and in compressed time.
Learn how to relax, stand out and compete for that role with confidence!
Preparing
the classical audition
The first step
in a successful classical audition is finding the right Shakespearean
monologue. The last step is making it your own. Learn how to present
yourself as an accomplished classical actor with tips choosing pieces,
handling the language and owning the character!
Take one of the classes or both for a discounted rate!
Fee: $75
for one class; $125 for both

BASIC
ACTING II
Using techniques learned in Basic Acting I, students work toward
creating equally powerful scenes. Techniques are based in Stanislavski,
Shurtleff & Spolin.
Fee: $150

Using techniques learned in Basic Acting I & II, students
will delve into the creation of more complicated scenes.

ACTING
FOR THE CAMERA I
Whether you're a print model or a stage actor who hopes to find
work on the screen, Tom Bruno will guide you through the basics
of script analysis, preparing and auditioning. Students work from
a professional scripts that Mr. Bruno has collected from years of
his work on location.
Fee: $150

ACTING FOR THE CAMERA II
Using techniques learned in Acting for the Camera I, students
will dive deeper into the art of acting in front of a camera with
an emphasis on scenework.

PLAYWRITING
Practical Techniques for Writing for Stage and Screen: This practical,
interactive writing workshop will allow interested creative
writers multiple opportunities to explore approaches and techniques
utilized in writing scripts for the the stage and screen. Writers
will study stylistic elements of stage and screen plays and will engage a
number of creative writing exercises as they work collaboratively
with each other and the instructor to create short scripts that
effectively bring their stories and visions to life.
