PLAYWRITING
This
introductory class offers a wide range of practical and creative
playwriting techniques and activities. This class provides
a supportive environment for beginning writers and curious non-writers
who are interested in creating texts for the live theatre.
Participants will work collaboratively to create original monologues,
scenes, and short plays.

ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE
Come join this new acting
class that is being brought to the UW-Waukesha Campus! Merge
art and philosophy with the basic components of storytelling, creating
a character and lively philosophical discussion. Students
will learn life skills through the actor's journey. We will
explore why we create art and the need to share our stories.
Participants will engage in improvisation, writing, monologues and
scene work.

(Fee $149) This is a continuing
education course. Students will be issues CEUs upon completion
of the course if requested at the time of registration.

BASIC
ACTING I
This class is designed for non-professionals interested in acquiring
basic acting skills. Classes will assist students in developing
techniques they can use for any stage performance. Special attention
will be given to preparing a contemporary monologue.
