Volunteers needed for the Milwaukee Rep's Big Read of To Kill a Mockingbird!
We are seeking volunteers for dramatic readings of Harper Lee's novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. The readings occur at various locations throughout the Milwaukee area, are accompanied by a book discussion, and would last no more than two hours (probably less). The readings take place starting mid October and run through March. Volunteers would be reading aloud from the novel in front of a public audience.
If you are interested or would like more information, please send your name, phone number, and e-mail to bigread@milwaukeerep.com with the subject "Dramatic Reading Volunteer".
Book Discussions
Hear the novel come to life as excerpts of the To Kill a Mockingbird will be read by local actors, students and community volunteers. A moderated discussion about themes of the novel will follow.
