Responsibilities: Provide clerical support and assistance
for administrative managers including: processing contracts, support
for Corporate Board and its committees, Friends of The Rep volunteer
organization, correspondence, filing, scheduling, overseeing office
supplies and machines, telephones and computer network, distribution
and processing of mail, backup staffing for reception, other duties
as they arise.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication
skills and strong word processing, data base, spread sheet experience. Flexibility,
accuracy, ability to handle multiple tasks and work well with different
constituencies is essential. Creative, fast-paced and informal

MILWAUKEE REPERTORY THEATER
Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving
Primary areas of responsibility: Research, define and implement
strategies for corporate and foundation contributions, focusing
on identifying new and increased corporate partnerships and foundation
funding. Create materials necessary to the implementation of defined
strategies, including writing all foundation and government grants
and corporate sponsorship proposals. Plan all events related to
corporate and foundation cultivation and benefit fulfillment. Staff,
and work closely with, appropriate Board committees; ensure deliverance
of corporate benefits program; assist Development Director in other
areas of department strategy.
Desired outcomes: Increase in corporate and foundation
gifts, including identification and solicitation of national foundations,
and creation of multi-tiered corporate sponsorship program.
Qualifications: 3-5 years experience working with the corporate
sector, either in a non-profit or for-profit capacity, with increasing
levels of responsibility; strong, proven oral and written communication
skills, with a preference given for candidates with major proposal
writing experience. Ideal candidate has a comfort level in working
with corporate executives and top community leaders and “making
the ask”. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
are required. Willingness to work as part of a team environment
is critical. Strong computer skills are desirable, specifically
with Microsoft Word, Excel; familiarity with Tessitura software
is a plus.
Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position.

Senior Sales Manager
The Senior Sales Manager plays a key role in the planning and execution of all sales programs to achieve ticket income goals. Working closely with The Rep’s Marketing Director, the Senior Sales Manager develops strategic directions for targeted and innovative sales programs. The position is the administrative liaison to, and direct supervisor of, the Ticket Office (on site and virtual) and Priority Services department (Telemarketing), manages ticket inventory and prepares and delivers timely sales reports for subscription, group and single ticket sales. By communicating marketing department sales initiatives, the position develops key messages for the sales staff and establishes and monitors customer service policies. Responsible for the integrity and management of the customer database, the Senior Sales Manager also provides analysis of meaningful sales trends and monitors results from all sales channels. Knowledge and Essential Skills
- Proven track record in sales management, preferably in ticket office management

- Analytical and computer skills. Knowledge of Tessitura, arts enterprise software, is a plus.

PR/MARKETING DEPARTMENT INTERNSHIPS
JOB DUTIES: Assist Public Relations Director in pr-related duties. Assist in writing press releases. Read and research plays. Write playwright bios and targeted promotional letters. Assist with publication production process with typing of articles, artist bios and editing. Update media list and prepare media kits. Maintain press clippings. Process donation requests. Assist in special mailings and special events. Research and writing for lobby displays.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent written and oral communication. Computer proficiency. Research skills. Good sense of humor! This is a great opportunity to intern in a fast-paced, professional theater environment.
TIMELINE: Internships are available for the fall, spring and summer semesters.
HOURS:12 to 15 hours per week.
COMPENSATION: Although this is an unpaid position, you will receive tickets to all Rep productions and have access to opening night receptions.
