Stackner Cabaret
The Stackner Cabaret, the Rep’s full-service restaurant
and bar, has openings for part-time lobby bartender positions in the
Quadracci Powerhouse and Stiemke Studio lobby bars. Available
shifts are Saturdays (matinee and evening performances) and Sunday
matinees; additional shifts will occasionally be available. Lobby Bartender
applicants must have previous bartending experience. Please keep in
mind that these positions are part-time, and that this is not a “typical” bartending
job. It involves only brief interaction with customers (there
are no barstools, for instance), and our patrons expect efficient service
with a smile rather than a conversation or drink suggestions. Because
there are no late nights, it’s an ideal job for someone who enjoys
the theater and is looking for a part-time job for some extra income,
but it’s not the kind of bartending job that will pay your rent.
